HOW IS VIRTUAL TRAINING DIFFERENT FROM A TRAINER IN A GYM?
Virtual training I have come to realize has many benefits. For one, clients don't have to commute; which creates a higher likelihood of attendance & commitment. It also eliminates the intimidation of a gym setting, creates a more personal experience & allows you to keep up your training with me anywhere in the world!
WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Although I have gotten creative and trained clients with absolutely nothing at all, I do recommend the bare minimum which includes: Resistance bands (open ended, handle attachments, hip circles), yoga mat, & 10lbs dumbbells. For my super eager clientele; they have gone above and invested in a series of dumbbells, yoga blocks, stability ball, bosu ball, kettlebells etc.. The more equipment you have keep in mind does make your workouts more interesting & gives me the ability to challenge you further. You will see faster results, and bands are very easy to travel with!
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?
I do not! When I was developing DHF It was one of my goals; to include nutrition programming in all fitness programs. In your consultation with me you will get an overview of all programs & pricing that I offer and nutrition is including in my 1-on-1 coaching programs (my most popular). It's also offered separately as a single service, that would include more depth.
HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A TYPICAL TRAINER AT A GYM?
Having experienced working in a box gym for what seemed like forever, it's actually not that different! At DHF I have created an online platform for paying clients, which is a great resource for clients to feel a sense of community as one would in a gym environment, with additional 24hr support & encouragement. Virtually I have worked hard to create a space where you can see & hear me effectively and I queue clients for form just the same. The only real difference is the equipment based on what you acquire and me not present to pickup your weights for you, but hey, extra cardio amiright ;)
